Well yesterday i recieved my fluval fx5. After doing a water change and assembling the filter i heard a crack. My tank split at the corner seam Sad. Water started rushing out. I had to siphon it very quickly. My turtles are currently in my ten gallon for the next few days because we are repairing the tank with silicone. Didn't even get to test my filter  Confused Thats my luck, my turtles are so confused they went from bing in a giant tank to a tiny one. Luckily they aren't fighting do to lack of space.

Sorry to hear that but at least you were there when it happened and was able to take care of the problem. Could have been a lot worse.

thanks, We are going to put water in it tonight. We used silicone to fix it and it said wait 48 hours which we have. Also may get some large gravel at lowes to spruce up the tank
